Easy Way to Cook Lady Finger a.k.a Okra Fries
Maybe you didn’t like this vegetables when you were a kid. Admittedly so, okra can be slimy if it’s not properly prepared . Most of you may have tried them fried with hefty corn meal coating. So, I came up with a baked alternative to the fried stuff. If you are curious about how to cook the lady fingers as fries, here is a quick tasty exclusive recipe that is flavorful and filling.
INGREDIENTS:
1/8 cup organic chopped basil
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp. sugar or coconut nectar
2 tbsp. onion powder
1 tbsp. mustard
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. garlic or one glove minced
COMBINE all ingredients in a glass bowl. Gently place okra fingers flat in one layer onto a baking tray. Pour the basil sauce generously over the okra finger pieces. Bake on 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
