As my real-life forensics psychiatrist sister, Dr. Shane says “It’s okay to not be okay.”  Detox from the phone or TV. Acknowledge your thoughts, then distract and take a walk. Be mindfully you…everyday!

Last week, I went LIVE on my personal Instagram page @denadoddlife on ways we can brighten up our lovely Mommy faces on camera. As some of you know, I appeared on the Dr. Oz Show in New York City. And, your appearance can really improve your mood, build confidence and bring a lovely smile to your face. No doubts here. So, here are my TOP PICKS from Beautycounter as we are easing into our “new normal” with more and more Zoom camera calls after wearing a face covering to the local Starbucks or grocery store. 1. Start with redder lip color than normal: Loving this. Girls’ Night  Get this bright red!
2. Use a good blush color for the cheek bones.
3. Add liquid in black or dark brown eye liner!
